GuardKids (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit guardkids.org and how we use it. Given the sensitive nature of our subject matter — child safety — we take privacy especially seriously.

Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized data including pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location (country/region level). We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics.
Server Logs
Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs including IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, and pages requested. These logs are retained for 30 days for security purposes and then deleted.
Email Contact
If you email us (corrections, press, partnerships), we retain your email address and message content to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your email with third parties.

GuardKids links to external resources including NCMEC, FBI, RAINN, platform safety pages, and sex offender registries. These external sites have their own privacy policies. Data Security
All connections to guardkids.org are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Our site is hosted on secure, reputable infrastructure. We do not store sensitive personal data on our servers.
Children's Privacy
GuardKids does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our site is designed primarily for parents, educators, and researchers. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@guardkids.org and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
